Sinopsis Trial of the Brave
He Qiang, a migrant worker, was cheated out of his wages by his unscrupulous employer Jiang Wude. Enraged, he robbed the money and set the factory on fire, then fled separately with his brothers, agreeing to meet at a desolate mountain. On the way, he was chased and hit from behind by Jiang Ze, Jiang Wude’s son. He Qiang initially wanted to settle things peacefully, but Jiang Ze—accompanied by his girlfriend Wang Shanshan—refused to let it go, provoking and humiliating him repeatedly. With urgent money needed for his brother and pursuers closing in, He Qiang suppressed his anger to apologize, yet Jiang Ze only grew more arrogant. Just as He Qiang was being tormented to the brink of despair, his brothers arrived just in time.
