This film tells the story of a fatal mistake by the husband, Wade Lewis, who accidentally left his wife, Kate Lowe, inside a car on a scorching hot day, leading to her eventual death. The story begins with the male lead, Wade Lewis, taking his wife, Kate Lowe, to the hospital for a check-up. While there, he learns that his childhood friend, Laura Mills, has returned to the country with her grandson and is also at the same hospital. Seizing the opportunity under the pretext of visiting a client, he locks Kate inside the car. The summer noon temperature rises rapidly, and soon Kate realizes something is wrong.
