Zheng Xin transfers her mother to another ward with her husband, Chu Xiao, in order to give up her bed to an elder in need. Unexpectedly, this elder is the mother of Chu Xiao's lover, Gu Tiantian. Gu saw the video of Chu Xiao and Zheng Xin and mistakenly thought that Zheng Xin was a mistress. She then dragged Zheng Xin's mother out of the ward and verbally abused and beat Zheng Xin, even threatening Zheng Xin to kneel down with Zheng's mother's life. When Chu Xiao rushes to the hospital, he asks Gu Tiantian to apologize to Zheng Xin, but Gu Tiantian mistakenly thinks Chu Xiao is helping the mistress.
