Stolen and abandoned as a child, Paige Whitman is fortunately taken in by her master, under whose guidance she grows up and cultivates her skills in the mountains. Driven by a strong sense of justice, she descends the mountain to gain worldly experience. By chance, she stumbles into an evil ritual and rescues Shao Yan. Following the trail of the dark cultivator, Victor Darrow, Paige returns to the Whitman family. There, she discovers that Victor is colluding with the fake heiress, Jean Whitman, plotting to murder her grandfather, George Whitman, through a sinister array.
