Suihua and Xuanxiao, the last two ancient deities of the Six Realms, married according to divine customs and vowed lifelong monogamy, sharing a thousand years of tender love. During the Demon-God War, when the Demon God was sealed, Xuanxiao was wounded by a sword while shielding Suihua. Suihua scoured the realms for a cure, only to chance upon Xuanxiao’s infidelity with the celestial maiden Luying just as she found a solution. Deeply heartbroken, she learned the Demon God had resurfaced, threatening the seal. Deciding to sever ties absolutely, Suihua resolved to sacrifice herself to repair the seal in seven days.
