Alex Neal possesses a divine artifact that can extract and release diseases. At the earnest plea of the Harris family, he enters the mortal world to save lives. In Cloudville, he encounters Oscar Innes, who oppresses him and attempts to seize his magical treasure. Alex retaliates in kind against those who repay kindness with enmity.
