A rural young man, Mason Stewart, defends his family and offends a local bully. Forced to flee, he illegally sails to Riverport to seek refuge with his cousin, Scarlett Lane. Upon arrival, police chase him. By chance, he becomes a bouncer at a club. He then defends a beautiful fellow townsgirl and gets into more trouble. Finally, he reunites with Scarlett. From then on, he gets drawn into gang wars. Though a commoner, with raw ferocity, he single-handedly takes on gang leaders, fights bloody battles against major gangs, and establishes Crown Nexus. Both the underworld and the authorities shake. One era's toughest boss of Riverford rises.
